We've been honored by a visit from Networkman:)

Let's keep them coming. With Admiral Phiton leading us, we can take the first place soon:)

Thanks Capt. Izzy. :) But, the home fleet cannot maintain the momentum of the last couple of days. My numbers will likely settle back down to the mid forties, much less for today. (darned UT fragfest to blame)

You & Commander Tarca continue with the leading & I'll try to follow close behind. :)

Hey Just starting,
I have a similar setup, KR7A raid 1700+ running at 140 fsb OS is windows 98se. My average wu is average about 4:15 . I also have a PIII running at 665 on an old DFI Ca61 it averages around 12:30 per wu. I am running the latest CLI client. Do you have any suggestions on how to improve these times?

I suppose that I'm a diffirent kind of grandpa, yes I play UT & a little Tribes 2. If I had a broadband connection, I'd show ya a move or two. ;) I also drive a Trans Am that sports the 5.7 LT1 engine. Really like to drive with the T-top off on a warm day too. Definately not the average old guy.........

:)

IsOs- I don't know what you're up to, but I like it!! 676 WU's reported yesterday!! Looks like "the plan" is helping a lilltle with processing AND returning the WU's. Whoo- hooo!! Another day like that and we'll surely be in the lead. My production was good (for me) yesterday also.

We need more SETI crunching power to maintain our current position. We only have 15 days left, so please go out and find more machines to run SETI.

FYI, I got so desperate in seeking additional SETI crunching power that I went ahead and replace the two capacitors that died on my MSI KT7266-Pro. I couldn't get the exact replacement parts locally, so I had to replace them with BIGGER capacitors. Making them FIT in the same location requires some creativity:)

I just turn it on and it's running SETI Driver on Windows 98. If all goes well, it should complete workunits in about 4.5 hours. FSB is at 143 for this AMD Thunderbird 1.4GHz cpu.

Let's hope it will continue to work without any problem.

I tried to assimilate the in-laws computer- to no avail. I was getting network socket errors when trying to connect to Berkely the first time. Don't really know if it was Berkely or the setup. I'll have to try again next time I'm over there.

Bad news, I have to work on my home machines so I'll be offline for a few days. I've send some completed workunits but they didn't make it for today's stats.

Goodluck to all:)
