We need more SETI crunching power to maintain our current position. We only have 15 days left, so please go out and find more machines to run SETI.
FYI, I got so desperate in seeking additional SETI crunching power that I went ahead and replace the two capacitors that died on my MSI KT7266-Pro. I couldn't get the exact replacement parts locally, so I had to replace them with BIGGER capacitors. Making them FIT in the same location requires some creativity
I just turn it on and it's running SETI Driver on Windows 98. If all goes well, it should complete workunits in about 4.5 hours. FSB is at 143 for this AMD Thunderbird 1.4GHz cpu.
Let's hope it will continue to work without any problem.
