Thanks for the PM, Tarca.

Where's the rest of DeNuts?

Anyone needs help in their new dual Athlon systems?

I just upgraded from a KT7-Raid/1100 T-Bird to a KR7A-Raid/XP1700+. The DDR made a huge difference as did the FSB increase. My Times went from 6.25hr avg. to 3.5hr avg. per WU. My Celeron 850 is only good for 3 WU's a day. I have SetiQ running- for those having a hard time getting WU's, I could point you my way. I could ask a few friends to point to my Q and register under my name!! In-Laws come to mind!! Parents only have a laptop and won't leave it running. Other ideas? Keep 'em comin'.

Go DeNuts!!

I have been down this weekend but have a 1700 xp up but can not get connected to seti to get any units? I also have my regular rig that I was running and have put the P2 under the bed without a monitor crunching away at those units. {Hubby cant understand why I wanna run it and keeps tryin to turn it off, so I hid it there.} lt will be impressive when I do my first downlaod, at least for a one woman operation. So if we all increase by just a few wu we can kick some butt.
Do what ya can. I have increased all I can.
GO NUTS! (LOL);)

HA! Small joke.:D

I tried to add another scsi drive and scsi cdrom to my main server Thursday night and it bit the dust. Moved the two P3-1000s from it to my Iwill DVD266R dually, which then crashed once I moved DirecWay over to it. For some reason VIA's USB support doesn't provide power all the time and caused the satellite link to go down and the the pretty blue screen shows up. So then I moved my satellite over to a cusl2-c/p3-1000 so I could get back online, but for some reason it has now decided it won't talk to the rest of my network. By the time all of that happened, I am on the road again (what's a tarheel anyway?). Is it true the only sport they recognize at Duke is roundball? I'll pick up a few spare ethernet cards while I'm out this week and may be back online by Saturday night with just one machine down. I wonder how long an Asus RMA will take?

Anyone interested in two dually asus cur-dls once they come back from RMA?
Or how about a dually Iwill DVD266-r?
I getting out of Intel's and moving to AMD XP's.

<< got kicked out of my house :( >>

:Q

Getting kicked out isn't too cool!

Some of you may have read my thread about the death in my wife's family. All 3 of my systems were down for about 4 days (lost about 40 to 50 wu's due to that). They're all back up now. That's all I've got. :(

Thecool1 -gee sorry about that. Hope everything gets better for you.
Maggotry -I remember, you did what you had to do.
This post wasnt directed at any one person, but anyone that could increase wu's thats all. You might call it a cheerleading post, tryin to put some spirit back into the team.
Go Nuts! :)

It seems that we all encounter somekind of problem. Another Crucial module failed. I just got the RMA number today. I should receive the replacement in about a week or so.

Who's out of workunit to crunch? Let me know and will try a couple of things to get you some workunits and not let your SETI setup idle.

Sorry to hear of the problems that some of you are experiencing. :(

As far as my situation is concerned, everything is running very, very nicely. My production has been well above the fleet's projected average. I have sufficient w/u's cached to tide the fleet over for at least ten days without refreshing at all. (end of good news)
My problem is of course the same as everyone else, can't upload or download much at all. My queue has been up & connected around the clock, Only been able to send in twelve results since last night ~7:00. Sixty results ready to go in the home fleet queue. :( All my remote machines dump to OK'S proxy and we all know that he is swamped and can't dump either. (thanks for trying orangekid!)
All I can say is- Crunch what ya got & turn em in when ya can!! :D

I'm glad that no one in DeNutsDoingItInStyle ran out of workunits.:)

Should that occur, PM me or post here. I'll try to send some:)

My method will work only with existing user. user_info.sah is required.

IJump of SETI Bandits are making a massive assimilations of SETI crunchers!

Is there anyone in our team that has connections to large network computers administrators? Maybe we can make a combined effort of communicating with people in-charge of computers and convinced them to let us run SETI.
