A little over $1000 a couple months ago. If they do that again anytime soon, I'm just going to dig the offending tooth out with a rusty spoon.

God, I'm glad we have good dental insurance. My spouse's two bridge replacements would've run at least $2400 a couple years ago, but we paid less than $50 for everything, I think. Of course, we have to pay for part of the insurance premiums, but with 2 kids and 2 adults getting cleanings and exams twice a year and xrays once a year, it is really nice to only pay five bucks for a copay.

I have the best dental plan my company offers, the max reimbursement is only 1k per year..chicken feed.

on the good side, the bill includes perio trays and medications, deep scaling, root planing, 2 extractions, 2 deep fillings.. work to be done in 2 sessions with sedation.

Dental prices like healthcare is out of control in this country.

That said I have a dentist and a hygienist in the family so I pay nothing. :D

I have the same copay for cleaning and xrays as you but those other procedures are really cheap compared to mine. :(
