Wells?
Actually, I think tooth picking and good brushing works best for me.

I no longer floss. I use an electric rotary tooth brush my dentist gave me (because flossing is tiring to me) and she said she cannot tell the difference (i.e. that my gums look as healthy as if I'd floss).

I forgot about those. I used them all the time, when I was working lots of hours and doing fast food. I need to go find some.

Agreed.

I use them just about every night after brushing (since that's the order they do it in the dentist office).

I even keep a baggie of them in my laptop bag in case I need one after lunch etc.

toothpicking works better than nothing, and some people can get by well as long as they toothpick around each tooth, but it still doesn't beat floss.

here's a saying to remember, and it's true, "only floss the teeth you want to keep."

I hadn't gone to the dentist in about 2 years ( since i got my first full time job out of college) and went about 1.5 months ago because my wisdom tooth hurt. i also had a cleaning and when they were done, i felt areas behind my teeth that i had previously not felt because of the tarter that built up there.

needless to say, i now floss every day, with the exception of about 7 days after my wisdom tooth was pulled. i do it every morning and sometimes at night. but i definitely do it every morning.

i only have 1 set of teeth and I don't want them to rot when i'm older, and taking an extra minute in the morning to floss will help prevent this.

flossing before bed is a better time to do it. stuff grows madwild in your mouth while you are sleeping.

at least you are doing it once/day though.

I don't use dental floss very often, but it does keep your teeth and gums in top shape.

Bag at home in the computer desk, and a bag in my desk at work.
I floss 3-5 times a week, and really wish I would do it daily. I need to get my kids started on the habit.....
