toothpicking works better than nothing, and some people can get by well as long as they toothpick around each tooth, but it still doesn't beat floss.Originally posted by: compuwiz1
Wells?
Actually, I think tooth picking and good brushing works best for me.
flossing before bed is a better time to do it. stuff grows madwild in your mouth while you are sleeping.Originally posted by: purbeast0
I hadn't gone to the dentist in about 2 years ( since i got my first full time job out of college) and went about 1.5 months ago because my wisdom tooth hurt. i also had a cleaning and when they were done, i felt areas behind my teeth that i had previously not felt because of the tarter that built up there.
needless to say, i now floss every day, with the exception of about 7 days after my wisdom tooth was pulled. i do it every morning and sometimes at night. but i definitely do it every morning.
i only have 1 set of teeth and I don't want them to rot when i'm older, and taking an extra minute in the morning to floss will help prevent this.

Agreed.
I use them just about every night after brushing (since that's the order they do it in the dentist office).
I even keep a baggie of them in my laptop bag in case I need one after lunch etc.
