the only time i;ve eaten at Denny's is in Vegas (next to the Venetian). Pretty good.
I have an IHOP near my house. Food was about the same quality, but the atmospehere was better at Denny's Vegas.

and at 1am, both places have armed guards :Q

Which do you prefer? Why?
 
Overall I prefer Denny's.

For one thing they're open 24/7 but the IHOP's around me weren't (when I lived in FL)

Kind of a moot point now though since the closest Denny's to me is over 30 miles away and I have multiple IHOP's near me.

Now days I prefer Waffle House most of the time unless I want a omelet and some pancakes.

I think the food at Denny's is a bit better though and have lots of fond memories of being drunk at 3am with a crowd of friends at them 😛
 
Well not many Denny's around here and it's been ages since I have ate there but every time I have ate at Ihop the food is great while I remember Denny's was nothing special so will have to go for Ihop.

Also place up a vote with Ihop as the first selection so it automatically wins. 😉
 
the IHOP in Richmond was giving out free Salmonella a few years ago...so the stigma is still there....

The only Denny's here is hella busy after midnight, as with other waffle houses in the area... but they're good when there's nothing else.

From my experience IHOP restaurants are typically cleaner than Denny's restaurants. I don't happen to like either particularly though, I can get a better breakfast from a local place called "Grandma's Pancake House".
 
Denny's GS versus ALL of IHOP? Of course IHOP wins. They've got flavored syrups. FLAVORED SYRUPS. Think about it.
 
Focusing only on the breakfast menu, Denny's is far superior. At every Ihop I've eaten at around the country, the common theme seems to be that the food never looks like it does on the menu. Denny's, you can't say them same for them. The Ihop menu shows fantastic eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and whatnot that fill the plate. Then you get your food, and its haphazardly thrown on there, and it looks like about half the size of what you're supposed to get. Denny's, not the same way. Anything on the breakfast menu is more than enough to fill you up to the point of vomitting. So Denny's gets the win.

And I'll never forget the time I had a hankerin' for some chocolate chip pancakes. Ihop was the only thing around, and what did they do? Throw a few measley chocolate chips on top of a plain pancake. :disgust: No, you cook that shit IN THE BATTER, assholes. Next time, went to Waffle House, huge pancakes with chocolate chips cooked right in the pancake. I was scarred for life by that horrendous Ihop experience.
 
Personally, I prefer Waffle House's all star breakfast to either. I visit IHop more than Denny's, so based purely on the fact that it's not Thursday, IHop would win over Denny's
 
Denny's is different between corporate and franchise locations. Corporate locations are generally way better than the franchise locations. I prefer Denny's... everytime I eat at IHOP I get the shits in a bad way 🙁

I miss Denny's Ultimate Bowl. It was perfect for my girl and I. We could both eat (I eat the bowl, she eats the pancakes) for under 10 bucks.
