Oh...so are you saying I'm a hyprocrit for making a thread like that?

1) I'm not sure what his original intentions were but I'd like to think he's sorry and realizes what he did was wrong. Some feel he has paid his dues while others think he should be perma banned for life.

2) Tom, you seriously need to get laid even if you have to pay a 60 yr old janitor for it. Just get it over with!

Did you have some sort of change of heart in the past few hours? Or am I not interpreting the tone of the OP correctly?

Nope. I have no beef with dennilfloss and he knows it.

I've chatted with him a few times and we spoke on the phone once.

Of course he paid his dues Rossman. He pulled the greatest prank in AT history. He made fools of all of us and then himself in the end. It went full circle and when you sit back and reflect, he taught us all a lesson in taking net life too seriously.

It is also nice to see old blood back in here again.

1) Honestly, I really don't give a flying fvck. I stop caring about what happens here during my one month ban

2) meh. It's not due to lack of opportunties. I just don't go for one night stands.

Those events also taught me an important life lesson, so I don't do crap like this anymore.

Are you going to go back to signing each post with a unique lyric? I always liked that about your posts.

Well I never judged you for it. You never intentionally hurt anyone and I saw what happened at face value. Yes it was a stupid thing to do, but we all have those kind of skeletons.

RossMan,

No song quotes anymore. Someone posted a strong objection on the day of my ban and it's a way of turning the page anyway. After all this time, I'm also used to not having them.

so how did you get un-banned or were you told in the beginning the ban would last 5 years?

Congratulations on turning the page although I will miss those quotes.

According to this thread, the moderators took a vote. I'm not so sure about the "took his ban like a man" part due to some inconsistencies shown in other threads, but I'm assuming that someone petitioned the mods about Dennilfloss's reinstatement.

I don't remember being told it was a permaban, nor told any time frame. I guess you could call it an indefinite ban. The expression permaban was not part of the mod vocabulary back in 2001.

sooooo, are you allowed to tell us how you found out you were unbanned?

His first clue was probably when almost every one of us came down into the dungeon and unlocked his cage. His second was when we let him put his pants back on. It was a beautiful moment, although the Really Mean Mod stayed upstairs in our widescreen, ultrasuede entertaiment center sulking and blowing his nose into the other mod's drinks. He's that mean.

I'm also curious.

Can you give us a vague explanation on how you were notified/alerted?
