Yes I did, and joined because of it. I only received one though, until I agreed to sign up so I would not call that spam. 😉

I am running SETI@HOME so I don't crack RC5. It is running real nice now that I have a new computer that does not have a bad cpu.

I received one from Dennis, but didn't consider it spam. You can always respond back and say "no thanks" if you're not willing to participate at the moment. Like others have indicated, Dennis has been a great contributor to these forums - and has done so for quite a long period of time.

However, if I had received this message from a newbie (someone with less than one month in these forums), I would have considered it differently.

Think of Dennis' message as a public service broadcast - or a recruiting effort. It's not like he promised to make you a millionaire - or some other silly topic like the actual spam messages you receive via E-mail.
 
Russ is the one getting spammed, with over 200 ass lamination emails from me in the last 2 months. Yet he wants more. Bwahahaha! 🙂

I got the pm also, but it didn't bother me at all. Actually if was the first and only private message I have gotten. But I forgot to sign up for and download it or whatever it is I have to do. Sorry dennilfloss I'll get on that as soon as I get home.
