Man, has he been on an assimilation tear!:D Check out the herd he has assembled by REALLY recruiting friends and acquaintances. This is what it is all about.

He attacks the task with relish and enthusiasm, which makes him irresistible. Everybody can do the same. Everyone has people they can entice! Follow his example, and we WILL be back on top in the dailies!:D:D

Denis,

You are the MAN! You and Adul have been the OT recruiting champions....The DC crew has tried to crack the OT forum (no pun intended) for some time now, and it took two inside champions to do their magic. :) You guys are a wonderful asset to TeAm Anandtech and....we...."We Love You guys!"....Great job Denis...Keep it Up! (even if you are a BORG :p)...

:D

If all 650+ members recruited half as well, this thing would be over by Thanksgiving. Outstanding! :D

Denis is doing EXACTLY what I've been preaching around these parts for some time. The true power of the DPC doesn't come from huge hulking behemoth servers... It's coming from lots and lots of regular people.

Denis is successful for one reason. He ASKS people to join. Period. :)

Right on Denis.:)

LOL, nickdakick

There is something strangely satisfying about being a drone... being part of the collective is like a spiritual release.

;) :D

Hmmmmm, I could easily turn this into some psychological discussion .... but I wont. Just kidding Isla. :D
I'm not only an oblivious but sometimes a childish old fart. ;)

Actually,

Remember people, we need 1,000,000 extra blocks per day. I don't know how much my herd adds to right now but I think that about 1200 cpus should do the trick. That means a lot of work is left for you guys to do. ;)

In the meantime, I'll keep on ass laminating. :)

Talk about a LEADER.

Denis is an example of what I've preached and preached in this forum. If TA is to overcome the daily deficit with DPC caused by our collective inability and unwillingness to recruit new membership we must emulate the example of this gentleman.

All talk about e-mails, lists, automated anything is fluff. This is a man doing the job.
Mr. Moderator - if you are in the house, I nominate Denis for a special title. He is everything that TA could possibly stand for - an ambassador... a team builder, a LEADER.

A sweep of the hat - a bow - to a gentleman.

Hehe :) Denis tried recruiting me too, but I told him I was already an indie within Team AnandTech... doing what I can, with what limited resources I have... I have my personal machines running it, all the displays at work, and while I'm hanging out in the labs at school, another 20 pc's... too bad i'm only getting about 1600 blocks/day. I have to do a lot of sneakernetting to shuffle them onto a connected machine. There's about 16 hours each day when I'm not at work that over 4 ghz of processing power has to be powered down... sorta sad, ain't it?
