Do you mean Clinton with the congress he had vs Obama with the current congress or do you mean Clinton with the current congress vs Obama with the current congress?

Those are two very different situations.

Give me bill + the Newt Republicans. This country would be in a hell of a lot better shape. It is truely amazing how a decade can change one perspective on govt. We were worried about a BJ while our budget ran surpluses and we had a thriving economy. Now we can barely pay for half of our ridiculously large budget via taxes and have to borrow the rest.

Bill or Hillary would be much, much better than this inept and very dangerous clown. Bill was alright, I woudn't expect Hillary could do near the damage of Obama because I think she actually does like America.

Any Clinton would be better than Obama. US could have survived another Clinton.

I don't really care if Obama is president or not.
(well not 100% true, but my point more pertains to Democrats/GOP)

Bill Clinton post 1994 any day of the week.

I would much rather have GOP control of congress with Obama as president than a Democrat controlled congress with a GOP president.

One of the biggest problem with the way government functions right now is that there are no checks and balances. Government has turned into one large circle jerk.

I never ever would have thought that I would long for the days when Bill was diddling interns in the white house. The abominations that have held the office since have lowered the bar such that Bill seems wonderful in comparison.

In what universe is gridlock a circle jerk?

What part of the circle jerk was stripping public option, the primary cost saver in health reform, to get the votes of a few conservative Democrats to prevent fillibuster by Republicans obstructing reforms that they supported in the 90s because it's now politically expedient to demonize and obstruct??

I'd rather have Bill. Since the economy was booming and unemployment was low, we all know that the President deserves the credit, right?

Voted for Hillary in the primaries, would have preferred her as the President, obviously. I would have preferred Bill over both, by a long shot.

Nope, I prefer Obama to either Clinton, most particularly Bill. The last thing we need right now would be to add a fat, whopping sex scandal and impeachment proceeding on top of all our other troubles.

That is probably why things went so well during the '90. More time spend on stupid stuff, meant less time spent "governing".

I don't see much difference between Hillary and Obama. Bill I'd prefer, but not to the extent of repealing the 22nd Amendment.

Oh yes we need more dems in Congress.

MOAR DEMS !!

Shove them in and bunch them up in 2's and 3's if you have too but the "Progressive Agenda" must to get through the door at all cost. A 13 trillion dollar debt is not high enough I tell you!

Edit: In response to the OP. Yes Bill but I'd need to have the Newt led GOP congress back to chin check him ever so often.

Na, Obama took care of that when he offered a job to several people to drop out of a primary race.

Remember that the economy was booming under Bill AND a GOP congress. Next to nothing was going on prior to 1994.
