I've been sending people to Demonoid who haven't had an account for years, and they get stuff without any problems (literally dozens if not hundreds of people). I think the only problem is you're limited to how many things you can download simulatenously.

It won't let you dl torrents older than a week or two if you aren't a member.

I've been in for a long time too. I almost never use it though as there are much better sites I find.

And I thought they opened registration every weekend. Maybe it used to be that way...
