See this is a problem I agree. The father should not sell drugs . The mother should . She has a better chance of not going to prison than the father does.

Dad could have a good job, provide a life for his family.

Gets caught buying a little recreational supply kit and gets sent to jail. Family plunged into poverty.

Went from a victimless crime to one with direct victims.

You have a right to free speech. You have a right to assemble peacefully. You have a right to free religion. You have a right to bear arms.

The government doesn't buy you a printing press or a TV station. The government does pay for your rally. The government doesn't buy you a church. The government does give you guns.

You have a lot of rights in this country. You are not, however, entitled to other peoples things for free.

I guess your explanation of what a RIGHT is to truepaige wasn't clear enough.

Perhaps you should explain the right to purchase a home, but explain how the government won't help you pay..... oh shit. Too late. The government already screwed that over too.
