There's no civility between us, as our system is broken. We are at an impasse that must be breached by either a third party winning the majority, state secession achieving progress without Washington DC, or we let it all turn to !@#$ and we go mad max.

You see Rep. Ellison's civility and a crowd cheering him on. This is not a country that can be governed if things remain as they are, if real change is not achieved. The pot is boiling, pressure is building, do you act to affect the shape of things to come, or let it all continue to slide into hell?

Anyone voting Democrat or Republican. Anyone not supporting state's rights is part of the crowd. Together they are Nero playing the fiddle, laughing in madness as their country burns.
 
There is no question Pokerguy that Ellison was upset, and lost his composure. But Hannity and his little video prior to putting Ellison on is what got him upset. The fact remains that Hannity isn't debating anything except "coloring" a biased view for his viewers and not stating facts. He clearly leaves out facts in the video and in his commentaries. I think the Democrats and others are just getting really tired of this crap.

But here is one really good fact, and that is the majority of American's don't trust Fox anymore as a real news source. Even those who stayed glued to their little "media" world bubble have found out the hard way that Fox is crap and not accurate. Just look at all those shocked faces when Obama won the Presidency on election night. Even Rove couldn't comprehend it, because they were all being spoon fed, biased, in-accurate, distorted information from Fox and their so called news casters.

I watched the Newport News speech. It was the absolute most absurd bullshit I have ever heard him say. I normally look at it from all perspectives but that was straight good old fashioned American fear mongering at its best.

You know what this sequestration really is ? Its the Republicans back handed acknowledgement that taxes had to be raised without seeming to vote for them.

Of course he can't but the White House most certainly suggested the idea initially after Republicans would not budge late last year, he suggested it, they went with it, and now we have it.

It must suck knowing that the president has to be the adult and babysit the little kids in congress because they can't do anything on their own.

Republicans are right, government is the problem, it's just that they ARE the government.

Reid and Bohner DID reach an agreement. Obama killed it and instead offered sequestration as a solution to get past the election.
