Wow. Fuck em

Edit: one of my local reps is there. Gonna have to leave a message asking why she is supporting the gestapo
You should see the other side of this resolution: https://nypost.com/2025/06/10/us-ne...-the-antisemitic-terrorist-attack-in-boulder/

The resolution was basically garbage after slipping in the ICE stuff - a damned if you do, damned if you don't. Regardless, we don't have to carry water for people that only want to push "Dems in Disarray" stories and take air away from the "Republicans are evil people" stories.

The Dems badly need a Tea Party moment within the party.

If these clowns keep this up I'ma have to go full accellerationist and that's by definition a losing strategy.

Politicians really want, and are desperately trying, to pretend that everything is normal in America.
  • Institutions are supposed to be gutted.
  • Branches of Government are meant to be ignored.
  • Military is supposed to control our streets. Etc.
Those people just are not built for the times we now live in.
They cannot even comprehend it. And if they did, they would dare not speak it.
They think keeping up the pretense, wearing a mask of normalcy, is their job. How they help.

They couldn't be more wrong. But MAGA will show them soon enough. They actually are irrelevant either way.

Anything from the Democrats lately, other than Jeffries' recent lukewarm statement?

Are they finally disbanded?

Great to see the Dem establishment lose in NYC. Those corrupt neo liberal bastards were fine with the corrupt, boorish, sexual harasser Cuomo, because he was the only one that they thought could beat an actual progressive.

The Dem establishment is totally ok with a disgraced Dem if there is a progressive to stop. It was good for him to resign as governor because there was no risk of a progressive taking his job a few years ago, so the Dems trot forward their 'values'. But when it comes to stopping an actual progressive with real policies for real people for mayor, all the fake Dem establishment values against corruption and abusing women just fall away.

ONLY the progressives actually called out Cuomo. The Dem establishment just keeps proving over and over that all our progressive criticism is 100% correct.

So so good to see them get trounced yesterday. Let's hope this keeps on happening. I URGE ALL REGISTERED DEMOCRATS TO SWITCH TO INDEPENDENT NOW THAT ALL PRIMARIES ARE OVER!

I'm joining some 50501 groups trying to start that movement.

Every week it's something worse. military deployed against civilians. People dying in custody. A pregnant woman giving a stillbirth in custody.

Still zero signs of the democracratic establishment opposition strategy. Because they don't care enough. They want to push further right. They are a fundamentally broken and rotten party. They just want to rely on, well Trump is really a lot worse! Why should we do anything? And this is fine with them. Pathetic. Obscene.

Destroy the Dem establishment. vote in actual progressives who don't want to just exist doing nothing so they can just say, well look at the Republicans, they're super terrible! But ignore our corruption!

Fuck em all

Lining up behind Cuomo was both stupid and lazy. There were other options. He didn't even seem to really want it anyway.

You forgot to add corrupt.

The Dem neoliberal corporate establishment is corrupt to the core. They do not believe in progressive ideals. They and Trump donors backed Cuomo. Anybody but a progressive. They don't care. They've shown it now for years but I didn't want to believe it, I believed the Democratic party was going to be there for us.

Nope. They literally don't want to be there for us. The party is too rotten. Needs an internal revolution or to become a shell of itself.

Well the Brooklyn Dem machine has now openly endorsed Mandani. Cuomo, to his *grits teeth* credit, admitted he lost last night and congratulated him.

Expanding the tent rather than choosing irrelevance was the choice before them and to survive have picked #1. The braying of the punditry who is mostly wrong about everything politically is of no consequence to me.

The corruption of the Dem party has been well laid out in this thread, and others, but well documented here. And there is so much more that hasn't been said. This primary is just another example out of many previous ones.

Also fuck the DNC

Of course they kicked Hogg out. Here are some Union leader resignations. I hope the fucking DNC collapses. It's time to rid ourselves of the machinery of the corrupt Dems, who, as an opposition party, literally helped Trump win in many ways. Fuck then all.

Full scale NYC media crashout in progress. Adams has as much chance at staying mayor as I have of becoming the Queen of Denmark.

That is the same donor class who the Democrat establishment is beholden to. They are all just an intertwined group of corruption and almost no real progressive values. And no leadership to oppose Trump in any meaningful way.

This is why they went after Bernie, keep AOC down, and turn Kamala from her progressive ideals into a center right platform candidate campaigning with Liz Cheney, while muzzling Walz for quite a bit of the campaign after he gave too much of that progressive straight talk. The Dem establishment and their donor buddies do not want almost any of the progressive platform.

It's funny reading articles this week about why don't the Dems learn from Mamdani on how to energize their base? I mean they didn't learn from AOC either. Or Bernie. Etc etc. except it's not that they don't want to learn, none of those things are their values or goals. they are against those things, so why ask why aren't they learning? Stupid question.

They are a corrupt bunch of neoliberal corporate class hookers, it's not in their value system at all.

Well it was bust either way as both times the Trumpanzees have gotten a trifecta.
The Dem establishment did not fail by having Kamala take over Biden's easily predicted failed campaign; her taking the mantle is one of the only things that happened correctly.

The Dem establishment fucked up the process by letting a clearly fading and sun downing man with shit poll numbers and with his own base not wanting him to run again, prevent a real primary from happening. Then, when the only choice was Kamala, they quickly knocked whatever progressive leanings she had out of her, pushed her to their preferred center right neo liberal corporate friendly policies, and a slavish devotion to Israel (see no Palestinian allowed to speak at the DNC and never let Kamala stray too far) and then promptly lost the election.

I have been wondering about you with the Democrat NYC mayoral primary race turning as it did. I was simply turning pink with joy, at least temporarily. I figured you’d be happy and I see you are. Hope his economic message works. Not my cup of tea, but nothing wrong with it either. The problem for me is that it is the whole system that needs bringing down and replacing and that local bandaids are easy to pull off and hard to apply.
