Mary McDonnel turned out to have a command voice too and I never thought of her having one.

So AOC might mature with time but I do think you're right.. Mallory has got it!

I'm talking 100% about her actual words and the content. Pathetic. I could not care if she had the voice of Emma Stone or Scarlett Johansen. Her words are a joke at this point. I thought maybe she was held back in the campaign and maybe regretted it. But apparently she has bought into that entire feckless establishment bullshit that helped cost us the election.

When human rights are selective, they will soon become privileged. AKA non-existent.
Without human rights, there is no corner stone or foundation for western civilization.
Without that... we will no longer be settling our differences through elections or civil discourse.

American history is young and does not yet compare to Europe's centuries of war. But we can certainly put in an effort to make up the difference in our near future.

I want Dems with some spine to play hardball and stop all FEMA, all Medicaid, any kind of bonuses for the deep south. You make them suffer like they're trying to make us suffer and then when they've suffered enough you negotiate terms.

Instead we got idealists.. that's why we'll never win.. we shoot ourselves in the foot instead.

BTW the due process wasn't that good before.. where accused were in jail for years before their cases were heard:

“The truth is, proto-authoritarian governments do not just come out of nowhere. We would not be here in this situation if the government, the economy, and the politics of our country were healthy. They’ve been unhealthy for a long time,” Buttigieg told MSNBC’s Jen Psaki.

The cruel irony is that of the few Dems actually correctly addressing this (Pete, AOC) are totally unelectable on a national level. Oh well. Hope Dems continue to enjoy polling substantially worse than even Trump is.

Trump was unelectable too.. and people were so sick of things.. they used him as a weapon to inflict pain on others.

What you say about AOC might be true.. but there will eventually be enough who will use her as a weapon if she comes across as a weapon. If she tries to be cutesy and soft spoken.. she has no chance though.
