There already exists privatized Medicare, it's called Medicare Advantage. I find it hard to believe that a Medicare-For-All plan wouldn't also expand the availability of Medicare Advantage plans, thus ensuring that people could utilize private insurers instead of government if they so chose.

Bernie trying to hit Biden on the Iraq war vote but Biden, not less than two minutes earlier, already admitted to that mistake.

Yang is a data guy and I love it!

He's right though, educating our youth is more than just the teaching aspect of it.

Democrat leadership better hope their voting base never realizes that there is nothing based on race in America today that will hold back anyone that makes responsible decisions and puts effort in from achieving.
That's BS!!! Keep be;lieving Buttercup!!

You don't think the left hasn't leapt to the left? Biden had to punt on a question asking if he made a mistake because illegal immigrants were deported while he was VP. As a reminder, it was just a few years ago that he was VP. The left has over corrected because of Trump, and now they're too far gone.
"yawn"

I sincerely doubt any Medicare for all plan that would pass Congress will eliminate private insurance. I would bet money it becomes some sort of Medicare buy in.

It's the only way I can see this actually working. Biden lays a strong point. M4A sounds like pie in the sky at this point, and isn't necessary to make immediate and significant improvements to the healthcare system.

They don't even need to eliminate the filabuster when much of this can be passed under reconciliation.

Personally, I think there are other issues to better spend the political capital on rather than a quixotic, protracted fight for single payer when a buy in is 90% as good.

Every one is telling really good personal stories right now. These are normal people, not billionaires or people born into wealth but people who faced adversity and normal everyday American people problems.

Fk. Biden just said parents should put on the record player for their their kids at night... in a question something about reparations or something
