"Mob" may not be the best word to define the protesters, but it is not an wrong one.

Faux News knew exactly which definition they were using (see #1 & #2), They never ever have referred to Tea Party rallys as a "mob".

They are doing it for a purpose, if you can't see that, you are blind.

If I had a penny for every time a post in this forum started with a phrase demonizing the left/right, I'd be a millionaire. It would be awesome if it won you a little vacation from P&N.

I'm not sure whom you wish to see vacationed, but both PeshaJang's and Atreus' points are irrefutable in my opinion. The left uses a LOT of violent language, and politically is responsible for a majority of violence, at least in protests. And we all demonize those with whom we violently (pun intended) disagree, and make excuses for those with whom we generally agree. And yes, I include myself in that group; even though "my side" often swings wildly, I happily demonize those with whom I disagree, whether it's Pubbies on gay marriage or the environment, or Democrats on, well, almost everything else. (Hey, if they don't want to be demonized they should have had the sense to agree with me.) Only a small minority of posters - Hayabusa Rider, Bamacre, Darwin and Jaskalas come to mind as examples - are more or less immune to this human behavior.

Politics is a contact sport. Bring your 'A' game and suit up.

Hello out there? Don't any of you know the history of unions? I'm sure he means to get out there and take your lumps, not to bloody anyone else. That is the only meaning that came to my mind when I read what he said.

Unions had a long history of awful violence done to them when they gathered in the past.

Kinda like the protesters in Egypt standing their ground against the counter protesters sent by the govt to do them violence...

LOL Have to admit I don't know much about Beck. I've read one of his books and don't remember being offended or overly impressed. I catch him on the radio sometimes, but he seems to be either doing a morning zoo type of thing, or discussing his rather serious physical ailments, and the few times I've caught his television show I've been impressed with his research but a bit taken back at his conclusions. So I'll merely wish him well from a safe distance.

Amen! I think both sides do the same thing, and both sides both some radicals urging their own people on to violence hoping that will get the job done. I think neither side has the right to point fingers because you are both guilty in inciting violence.

And unions have also had a history of being violent in protests. The unions have also had a history of bullying people who won't do what they want. But they're on your side so it's all good.

No link as I heard it from one of their pundits or reporters on air.

As to the second question, No I don't watch them 24/7 nor need to to realize they'd never piss off their base purposely.

They organized TP rallys, they'd never call them a mob in a derogatory fashion. Why would they?
