The brainiacs comment is nothing but a snide remark that takes attention away from whatever "truth" you may be pursuing, if any. I've presented ideas as to why people are ignorant or willfully ignorant. Do you fit into one of those categories?

The thing that's sinking is the American public. The government is more like the control room. Nothing's going to save us in a collapse we need to fix what we have; That so many people think it's logical to push our government to make things worse until it all implodes is pretty horrifying and bodes ill for our future. Push for improvement or things will never get better. We'll be more like Somalia than not before the government just collapses.

Your comment flatly declaring that there's no difference between the two political parties -- while not in any way addressing the numerous examples where they differ -- marks you as sufficiently ignorant yourself that I'm not terribly interested in your ridiculous taxonomy.

You think the deaths of innocent people through perpetual wars is ridiculous? You think the lies spewed from one politician to the next and from one election to the next is ridiculous? This is quite telling.

Those "differences" (as you call them) have not resulted in more freedom. In fact they only result in more laws and more control. No less aggression against foreign nations and definitely not less government intrusion in our daily lives. You are lied to at the very least by your representatives and ignored at most. How anyone could not see these things as the most important quantifiers of government is beyond me. Maybe you can tell me why gay marriage is such important topic since thats a "difference".

You can get into semantics but at the end of the day the same is the result and you are willfully ignoring it. That's okay because your inner war isn't against me, its against yourself.
 
I do have to say, it is fun to watch the trolls circle the wagons when one of their own is given a good old-fashioned smackdown by someone with a proper intellect.

Numerous specific examples of differences between the two parties have been listed. Perhaps someone actually capable of thinking would like to address them. If not, whatever, it's just another waste of a thread in P&N.

Again you sidestep with snide remarks. You aren't capable of a rationalized discussion apparently. Why are you here if you intend to speak only your side and berate others while you're at it? I'm starting to think there are some who put on the cloak of legitimacy when in fact care nothing for it. Sounds like government.
