The overt racism in this is astounding. They blatantly call the political cartoon she posted to her Facebook that accuses Trump of racism, "racist." Link to article below.

When Delta employees intermix Delta’s brand with conduct or content that does not reflect our values of professionalism, inclusion, and respect, that conduct can result in discipline or termination.

So was she using her personal social media account to advertise for Delta or something? What does it mean to intermix Delta branding with personal conduct?

I think she probably will at least get a settlement if not flat out win the case.
Trump is toxic and hearing that delta is punishing an employee for political speech against him won't go well. Heck already after reading this story I'll be avoiding delta. They'll settle just to get it out of the news.

Because talking about racism is the real racism! /s
It does look that way in my opinion. Nothing negatively racial there about the other white guy in the debate. He comes off, I would say, in a quite positive light. If anything it points to how one white person can be a shit and another a decent human being, a fact that can be noted rather obviously by this white guy, me, in appreciation that people of other races (which I don't believe really exist) hold positive views of many white people. Glad to see, Delta, you hired a fine upstanding human being.

Sent this complaint to Delta: Read you fired a Black employee for showing the President, Joe Biden, a white guy, in a positive light because she posted racist material on a web site. Racists like to hide behind charging others for pointing out racism in others which isn't racism at all. They don't call bigots blind for no reason.

You won't probably miss anything. Even Biscoff is sold in stores now.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Obviously we're now in a time where you can be fired for stuff on your social media feed, but some of those are going to go over better in the court of public opinion than others.

If I had to guess, I'd say maybe her profile said she worked for Delta, and/or had pics of herself in company accoutrements on her feed, that kind of thing.

And yeah, it would be interesting to see what the feed of the person who turned her in looks like. But they may not have a FB profile, preferring to stick to truthier alternatives...

I think it's time for these people who are fired for actions outside of their job, during their personal off time, that has no connection to their job other than they are employed by them.. (IE companies who believe they have the right to dictate their employees private lives, personal social media).. to file for unpaid, back wages. If these companies believe they have the right to dictate your freedoms, your private lives, and in some cases, your beliefs (religious, political, etc). outside the workplace, then as far as I am concerned, they are still on company time which should require them to compensate them for all hours of the day as they are still "on the clock" and being controlled by their employer, even during their off personal time. This also should happen even if they are on Salary, as that salary does not cover personal time off.

Short version: If they want to control their employees actions 24/7, then they need to pay them an hourly wage 24/7. (NO less than the minimum wage).
