DeLorean time machine

I am in the process of constructing a time machine based around a DeLorean motor vehicle. I would be interested in peoples thoughts on the construction of the Flux Capacitor, as i do not feel mine is running at optimal efficiency.

I am also having some trouble with the anti-matter flow control. It seems that when the plutonium is injected into the central core, it causes some kind of electrical relay surge in the crossover circuits. It's very annoying, and i'm eager to get this baby up and running!

Thanks!

I had similar problems. I used a 2mh coil in parallel with the flux-capacitor to improve its resonance. I substituted U-235 for the Plutonium.

Just met a good looking Eloi a few weeks from now.

Regards

How many Jiggawatts are you currently capable of generating? I got stuck at just over 1.3 and even then, it is unstable

I just went and picked up a couple kilograms of plutonium at the local military junkyard to complete my nuclear power design. Fed that into my own proprietary design and have the power output feed about 20 banks of capacitors for energy storage in case I need to get out of a particular time period quickly.

I modified mine to use a very compact fusion device I picked up a few hundred years from now and been stable ever since.

Good thinking. Just get it working well enough to go into the future and get some better technology.

When you get it stable could you bring a few more back from the future. I'll give a lot of $$$ for one.

You really should be more careful with your power consumption, you never know when you might regret needing that much power.

well you need at least 1.21 jiggawatts to get the time machine going. if you don't have that... then you just have an expensive delorean.

It's Jigga in the movie, dumbass.

Well the real problem is, can your delorean actually make it to 88MPH? I solved the flux capacitor problem last week, now i just need more speed. Tomorrow i'm gonna try to get to 88MPH by going down a hill. Hopefully the gravitational forces will pull enough on the car to give me the boost i need.

Just be very careful where you're getting the plutonium from. I understand that Libyans can get really pissed off if you cheat them out of their plutonium and they'll come after you in a VW microbus.

"This is heavy."

"Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the Earth's gravitational pull?

EDIT: Had to get the correct quotes 😛

What??? ... or should I say, Watt ???? Why bother with all that radioactive crap when you can use the much cleaner Mr. Fusions system? 😛

It's just the way he says it, dumbass 😛

It IS Gigawatts.

You Americans seem to have a habbit of making words sound different. He's obviously just pronouncing the G differently 🙂

Yeah guys. Just use one lot of plutonium, then just go far enough forward to get the Mr Fusion 🙂
