Hello folks,

I recently picked up a XPS 720 case and a Dell 1000 Watt PSU with it. I am going to do a BTX to ATX conversion on the case. I currently have a 500 watt Coolermaster PSU and I would like to use the DELL PSU instead. The Dell PSU is BTX so it has both a 20pin and 24 pin connectors. I plan on converting the 20 pin to a 8 pin or some molex's ? Not sure at this point. There is also a weird connector I haven't seen before - They call it a P14, take a look at the picture below. I wanted to see if they make a adapter/convertor for this or not?

Thanks in advance.

Think I answered my own question.

Dell XPS 720 1000 Watt Power Supply - Model Number: N1000P-00 - Part Number: PM480
This item has been tested and was pulled from a working machine. All connectors have been inspected and appear to be in good condition. The power supply has five 12-volt rails at 18 amps each (+12VA, +12VB, +12VC, +12VD, +12VE) for a total of 90 amps from the 12-volt rails. The power supply connectors and corresponding 12-volt rail are as follows:

P1 - 24-pin Motherboard (+12VD)
P2 - 20-pin Motherboard (+12VA, +12VB, +12VC)
P3 - 6-pin Graphics Card (+12VE)
P4 - 6-pin Graphics Card (+12VE)
P5 - Floppy Disk
P6 - Molex (+12VE)
P7 - Molex (+12VE)
P8 - SATA (+12VE)
P9 - SATA (+12VE)
P10 - SATA (+12VE)
P11 - SATA (+12VE)
P12 - SATA (+12VE)
P13 - SATA (+12VE)
P14 - H2C Cooling (+12VB)
P15 - 6-pin Graphics Card (+12VB)
P16 - 6-pin Graphics Card (+12VC)

The power supply has two (2) motherboard connectors (one 24-pin and one 20-pin), a connector for the H2C cooling, four (4) six-pin graphics card connectors, six (6) SATA connectors, two (2) Molex connectors, and a floppy disk connector. Keep in mind that many components run of the +12VE rail and the P15 and P16 connectors are great options for your graphics cards. The 750W power supply from Dell lacks these options.

Hope this helps someone else?
