Dell Xp reinstall disks

So my next door neighbor asked me to fix her Dell laptop. Apparently she took it in to Best Buy and told them she wanted them to get rid of spyware and viruses but instead they installed windows 2000 over her XP factory default install😕 So she wants me to install XP back on her computer. Well she has all of the CD's that came with her computer: One that says Reinstallation CD Windows XP Professional Including SP1a and a bunch of other drivers/software CDs. She also has a windows xp sticker, an XP product key sticker, and all of the service tag/order #/EXP. SVC codes on her laptop.
On the Reinstallation of XP CD, it says: Only use this CD to reinstall the operating system on a Dell computer. This CD is not for reinstallation of programs or drivers.
Can I use this CD to reinstall XP or is this some repair CD all dell's come with?
Can I just stick the CD in and put in the product key located on the bottom of her laptop and all will be fine?
Will I have to activate anything again?
Im just trying to get everything in order so I will be able to do this without messing everything up.

Yes. It is an XP setup CD, not a restore CD.

Yes, in fact, you probably won't need to enter a product key, as the CD should have a valid one built-in.

Dells are pre-activated from the factory, and their setup CDs contain those pre-activation files. You should not need to reactivate.

And the "drivers and Utilities" CD will allow you to get all her devices back up and working once XP is installed (for those devices XP doesn't find, that is).

I would recommend visiting Dell's support site to find the latest versions of drivers, however.
