I've got both the 2007WFP and the VX2025WM with an NEC 20WMGX2 on the way. To me, the colors seem to be more vibrant on the Dell, and the monitor itself (stand, bezel, etc) is very attractive. The ViewSonic is faster I believe and its controls are very easy to navigate through. While the bezel and fixed stand are not as nice compared to the Dell, it manages its cords and connections through a discreet track leading from the monitor to the base of the stand that is covered by plastic tops, giving it a very sleek and finished look without cords being visible. Also, with the VX2025 I have yet to see a dead/stuck pixel whereas the Dell I can begin to find a few when I look for them. The Dell, for me, has gradient banding but I've heard rumors that that has been fixed. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong) For some reason my ViewSonic came with very minimal banding as well, not at all comparible to the 2007WFP, but still there regardless. The backlight bleeding is more apparent on the VX2025WM, but a near solid black on the 2007WFP. For the best color/contrast ratio as well as price/perforrmance, I think you can't go wrong with the VX2025WM IMHO.
