I haven't been keeping track of what's going on in mobile processors (last laptop I owned for personal use was a Dell M140) - how would this CPU fare vs. an Intel equivalent in terms of battery life, heat, etc? Also, is there a huge difference between the Dual-Core Mobile and non-Mobile versions?

I think that in battery life, the turions are superior to a mobile athlon. A turion TL is better than a TK, I think. The performance is a bit better than a Core Duo, but worse than a Core 2 Duo.
