Used to have one, sold due to financial issues and did I regret.

I bought it when it was on sale at Dell.Com for $229

Decent price on a very good IPS monitor. I've had mine a year and a half now and its been great. I paid about $300 or some such at the time. That highly adjustable stand is awesome and mine had no black light bleeding or dead/stuck pixels. Best monitor I've owned.

would have to see the receipt on that... i watch pretty carefully for these, it's my favorite monitor for work settings... i have 4 myself and have never gotten one below $289 (and that was with dell credits...)...

you truly scored if you got this monitor for that price...

TD via eBay sold almost a thousand units for $229 earlier this week.

Kind of thinking about this. I have a Dell 20" from 2005 and could use an upgrade.

Guess it would be nice to have a HDMI input, though I have no use for that right now. Some of the recent reviews seem a bit iffy too.

Someone convince me or not to buy this in the next couple hours. :)

Alright I ordered it. I had been thinking about getting a new monitor (23 or 24") for a couple of years but it seems like most all of them are TN panels with simple stands. Coming from a 2005FPW I am used to a stand with lots of adjustment. And it's nice this is a 16:10 still with not a TN panel.

Hopefully it's good.

Thx OP. My 2007FP died recently, my 2407WFP is making noises like it might die soon. This looks like a perfect replacement. Only thing it's missing is the side-mounted card reader.

I've got a 2405 from WAY back. My wife still uses it. Such a nice monitor. Haven't needed to replace it but I'm glad to see a good quality replacement at such a good price for when I finally do.
