Odd, I don't see blur, poor color, contrast issues, or bad viewing angles with mine.
 
I do not understand why people skimp on the monitor. It's the only part of the computer that you have an interface with!

Especially those of us who enjoy cutting edge hardware - graphics cards and CPUs. I don't give a s--t about 250 fps at 800 x 600, I want 1920 x 1200 at 60 fps!
 
i remember back in 05 I got my 2405 for 700 bucks and thought that it was the most amazing steal ever. I never thought these things would never be this low.

Oh well 😛, the higher price was well worth the two years i've gotten out of it so far

I remember when I bought my Sony G500 for $1000 back in 2000 and thought it was a steal. 😉 And I'm still using it. 🙂

The AAA discount is good through August 7. The link may not work for you though -- go through the main AAA site and search for DELL to find the offer.

 
You can almost always talk down a Dell rep to this price, or else if you know the IT guy at your office he can hook you up. :light:

How do you guys find out about all these coupon deals at dell anyways? How long was it before they dropped the price on this monitor anyways?

$500 I could live with, since I use a monitor till it pukes, that and this 19 inch CRT is making my desk bend 😛

edit: So is this a good monitor to "future" proof myself so i can watch HD videos on it and whatnot? The connections on back are the "newest"? I am a noob at video stuff 😛
