Dell Ultrasharp 2001FP on sale - Time to buy?

Guys, help me out. I've been waiting a while to purchase a new LCD monitor and see that the Dell Ultrasharp 2001FP is on sale today.

Can anyone out there who owns one let me know how reliable it is and if you'd recommend it? I'll use this mostly for general MS Office tasks, web surfing, moderate gaming. Any advice would be welcome.

I have had one at work for 10 months which I use for MS Office apps, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc. etc. This monitor is now our company standard. Absolutely great to work on.

I have one at home as well (for about a month now), which I mostly game on: Battlefield Vietnam, C&C: Generals, JumpGate, Aces High, Warhammer 40K. The monitor performs great in all of these games. I highly recommend it.

Reliability has been great for both, with no dead pixels in either.

Yeah, I've read a bunch of threads but wanted even MORE advice before dropping this much cash on a new component. Sorry for adding thread clutter.

See? This is what I was looking for. A testimonial from someone who bangs the heck out of it in the office and at home. Thanks Kyrano! I'm a little skiddish about buying anything from Dell, but I'll probably give this one a try.
 
I was also interested in this monitor, and then i saw one from viewsonic that was also like 20.1 inches or something.. around $750 on newegg. I was wondering if anyone has had both variations and can tell me which one produces better images in games.. I could of swore i remember reading a review i think on tomshardware or something where he said the 2001fp was not a very good gamming monitor, thanks
