You can pick this monitor up for around 500 using the 10% off coupon and the promotion they got going on. I may have to pull the trigger on this one.

i have this monitor and it is AWESOME....obviously some ghosting in some games being a 25ms panel but depending on the type of gamer you are it is worth the awesome 2d display.

oh boy - hopefully no one will get the impression that he/she can get around paying sales tax on a Dell Small Business order unless the state in which the person is a resident has none...That is, to avoid paying sales tax in all other states one would need to state that the purchase is tax exempt - but if it isn't, it amounts to state tax fraud.

Does anyone recommend one over the other or has seen both side to side?

I bought a 191t from Best Buy and returned it the very next day.....it was HORRIBLE for gaming. Im pretty picky about gaming but the guys on the screen were moving with a trail effect. unnacceptable.

I searched for reviews of this monitor from the various PC magazines and while it was not the top pick, all said it was a very good monitor and that was for a $700 monitor.

I am sure the magazine reviews would tell you that for $496 this baby is smoking.

If I were to play alot of games I would rather invest in a 21 CRT due to much higher resolution, and response.

Besides the USB ports, more importantly I like the ability to rotate the screen.

I went to BB last night and looked at monitors and would dearly love a 21" monitor, but I did place a 19"Samsung next to the 21" and was satisfied that I could live with the 19". As a matter of fact, I could get 2 of the 19's for what the 21" would cost.

I checked one of the 21 flat CRT's we have at work today and it had ~19.5" viewable. Again, I came away saying I would prefer the Dell 19" FP.

Therefore, I bought one today going through fatwallet, and hopefully getting another 2.5% back. I don't know how those fatcash things on fatwallet work though. I was able to pick up a 10% coupon in my email.
