Dell Truemobile and Linksys Wireless G Router

I just purchased a Linksys WRT54G wireless router to use with my Dell Latitude C400 with Truemobile 1150 wireless card; I use wireless almost daily with no issues on Wayport, TMobile and other networks. While the Router seems very good, I cannot receive any signal from it at all, even if a foot away. I spoke with both Linksys and Dell and neither knows the other's products all that well; any ideas?

it seems there have been quite a few problems trying to get the 1150 to connect with any wireless Linksys equipment. I did a search on dells website and their forum's should provide you with the answer needed. See below for the link

I saw over at DSL reports that one person had to change the mode to mixed.
