Dell tablets are pretty bad, bad screen, clunky design, poor quality control (you can't read a thread about a Streak without someone mentioning how many times they've had it replaced by Dell) and evidently they aren't in Google's "trusted circle" to get the newest OS's...

I thought Dell was going to conquer China first before coming over next year to conquer the US Android market.

Only thing Dell is good for are $300 desktop computers.

How in the hell did they think they were going to corner the market in the land of the knockoffs? The other thing they're good for is cheap laptops from their outlet site when they issue coupons...

BTW, they have Streak 7's in the outlet, and there's a 20% off coupon right now...

Did anyone expect the Streak 5 is gain any traction? Its too big for a phone, too small for a tablet. Even if Dell put a solid screen in it, it's 1G Snapdragon would still be under powered and its 800x480 resolution would look awful on a 5in screen.

Enderle liked it, for what it's worth.

Dell should go for contracts with cable & satellite tv operators as tablet remotes. Put a custom linux install with a simple UI on a crap tablet, add an IR blaster, and make sure it works with the cable boxes of the major cable/sat. providers.
