You can get some good deals with this coupon combination. Dell Home currently has a $10 off $100 coupon code for software & peripherals that can be combined with the 10% off coupon code. Plus, free shipping on everything over $99 & no tax in most states.

very sexy. 😀

:bigthumbup:

Does anyone know if there is also a higher amount coupon (e.g. $125 of $1,000, or $50 off $500) which is also stackable. Don't send the code of course, I just want to know if there is CURRENTLY such a coupon which is STACKABLE with the 10% discount.

thanks

using both coupons, you can get the new Nomad III for 322.06.

They're labelled out of stock since the product is not even on the market yet. So order now if you would like to get in line, I myself am waiting for a review.

<< Speaking of something to bring back, how about the 20% off all Software and Peripherals? >>

And how about some price errors? 🙂

You know, with this deal you can get the NON dell-badged WD1200JB HDD's for $186 shipped, which is $2 better than the 20% off peripherals thing. Unfortunately, they're out of stock on those drives. Also, where are the coupon codes? I didn't see them listed. 🙁

hehehe, hey Rev. 😉

I was just thinin' isn't this only like $20 off or maybe even $19 off depending on how they figure it???

cgott42 yes, there's also a coupon like $100 off $400. but this is only for one-time use only tho.
too bad i only got this coupon when i bought a new P4 2GHz system for $720.

if ($10 off + 10%) {
print "sexy";
}
elsif ($10 off + 10% + $100 off) {
print "verry sexeh";
}
else {
print "🙁";
}

Nah, $218 - 10% ($21.8) for WD1200JB = $196 - $10 coupon = $186, free shipping, plus a no tax deal for us CA folk?? That's super.

I just wish the drive was in stock. Do they honor a "wait in line" system for discounts?

Here's a word of advice: Don't mix what Dell considers consumer
peripherals with what they consider service parts. I ordered
a 40x lite-on drive (which they consider a peripheral) plus
some hard drive mounting screws (which they consider service
parts).

As a result, my order sat in limbo for four days, and would have
sat in limbo forever, I suspect, if I hadn't called and forced
the issue. It wasn't trivial finding someone who could even find
my order in the system, either. It turns out that because the
order mixed parts from the two divisions, no one touched it.

Just a word to the wise.

thanks, you saved me 40 something bucks by purchasing thru home/home office with these coupons. I was about to buy thru small business with its 50 off (cant combine these with it).

Of all the weeks we've AT'ers have been cashing in on this, I cant believe this is the first post about the deal. Oh well. I ordered a Linksys BEFS11W4 Wireless Router for $142 shipped this weekend. Not a bad price but it still hasnt shipped. Boy these guys are slow sometimes...

<< California is supposed to have internet sales tax, but they didn't tax me... >>

Huh? Since when? The only time you get charged tax off internet purchases is if they have a store in your state and thats pretty much standard with all companies.

(Someone correct me though because I've never heard of this internet sales tax this guys talking about)

If the product is shiped within a state, then there's tax. For example, a purchase is made from a site that ships from a Cali wharehouse/store to a Cali address. The only thing I've never been able to figure out is which county tax they are supposed to charge -- the buyer's or seller's.

California Intrastate Taxing Logic:

- include the state rate
- include the county rate from the origin location. Include only the county rate, not the district rate.
- include the city rate from the origin location.
- include the district rate from the destination location.

That's how this works. And no there's no "Internet Tax", it's a matter of a company having what's called 'nexus' in a state. They establish nexus for example by having a warehouse in a state, having a sales person making sales calls in a state, or having a retail location in a state. There are more possible criterion, but those are the most common.

What's the poop on free shipping? After entering address and promo code it gives three options at $0.00 each: Next Day, 2nd Day & Ground. But the note (1) says this is estimated so I wonder if all service options are really free or if Next Day for instance would have charges added later. I went around in circles on the phone and waited for ages. The person I reached said they were all free but did not seem sure. I could never reach sales. It seems those tv ads are working too well.

I'd guess that if the 0.00 shipping appears on the final
confirmation page (and acknowledgement email), then
you're golden. If they tried to charge you shipping later,
you could just point to either of those, and if they still
gave you hard time (not likely), you could easily dispute
it with the credit card company.

I am not into hassles, but I'd go for the better shipping
*IF* you can get it to show up that way on the confirmation
page...

Yeah, I axed the person I did speak to what would happen if I was later charged more and it seemed it could be worked out without too much trouble. I went ahead and ordered with Next Day and so far there have been no extree charges. But the estimated shipping date is May 02 even though my item was in stock. What up wid dat? Is that a standard date estimation based on building a system or would it really apply to my order?

Don't forget ebates 3% y'all.
