Got the email from Dell SB with the subject line "Use these e-mail savings to your advantage"; look around for the appropriate coupon code. Of course, you can configure as you like. Here's what I got for that price:
  • Pentium 4 2.80 GHz, 533 FSB[
    WinXP Home
256 MB DDR 400 Mhz SDRAM
    40 Gb Ultra ATA/100 7500 RPM HD
    48x CD-RW (alternatively, a 16x DVD drive)
Yada yada, you all know how to figure it out

Actually, I'm not ordering this--but some of you all might be in a position for some early Christmas shopping, so go nuts.
🙂

No problem getting on.
I orders one for a friend today since his machine is kaput.
Came to $380 after rebate and taxes.
Rebate is $150 MIR

got through. Just a few bad links & old bookmarks I guess. Thanks.

BTW, you are one sexy biaatch!

I ain't thread crappin' cause this is a decent deal, but why do they even make mobo's without an AGP or PCIe slot now-a-days?

No flaming plz, but I got a closet full of parts for a rig that you can't game with, why would I go out and buy new one? Hehe. I know, it's supposed to be for the new users and the web oriented folks. Fair enough.

🙂

I got the basic configuration with the Celeron for my parents to use for websurfing. $249 plus tax is perfect for their purposes.

Yep, this PC is perfect for their needs.

Nice price!

You get a good PC case, legal software and they can call Dell tech support when problems arise 🙂

I am confused. what does I BTL mean? What was wrong with that post? Customer service is a part of the product, and yes Dell's CS is about 1/4 of what it used to be, thus making the deal not as hot as it could be..

As a consumer I WANT to know all the facts about a product. Just because it is cheap does not make it hot..
