Does anyone have experience with Dell projectors? I'm looking to buy an XGA projector with at least 1500 lumens and over 1000:1 contrast. I was just wondering why Dell projectors were significantly cheaper than other brands while the specs were comparable or better. I was looking at the 2300MP, 3300MP, and 4100MP. If anyone could recommend one that would be even better. Or if there was another brand/model that is good for the price. My price range is $1000-$2000. Thanks!
 
I don't think they're really significantly cheaper for what you get.

Is this going to be a business projector or a gaming projector or a home theater projector?

projector central has some nice info (and reviews) on a huge range of projectors including the dell models.

Some other companies to look at in your price range would be benq, optoma, infocus, panasonic, sanyo....

AVSforum is going to be a much better resource for you than Anandtech is for projector info.
