Just checked the status of my S200 on their website and now it says 04/13, better then the 04/17 I got by email last week...
Maybe they've found out for sure when they were coming in now !

They don't have the WATERPROOF case , just the Weatherproof one .... big difference

I had the s110 and it took horrible indoor shots. the flash doesnt cover enough space so at $500 it was way too expensive for a "cool" camera. Im dying for the 200 but missed out on the deal. hopefully they changed the insides enough to fix the indoor picture problems.

BTW: i got an olympus d-460 now. the olympus takes incredible pictures in any lighting. its just too big...

The whole reason these cameras are attractive is due to their tiny size.
You will be making compromises in both flash effectiveness and resolution compared to a "normal" sized camera.

Personally, I think for a tiny camera, the Pentax Optio 330 is the way to go since it's 3.34MP, 3x optical zoom, closer to the size of the S110/S200, and offers manual modes (including manual focus).

However, if you do not need a tiny camera, you will get better flash, better resolution, better features, and better price from a normal sized camera!!!

Olympus digicams are fantastic if a normal-size, plastic-bodied camera is good enough. I used to swear by Olympus digital cameras and have owned 5 of them. I went to the Pentax (and seriously considered the Canon Digital ELPHs) when I wanted a teeny weeny metal-bodied camera that fits in a pocket. If size didn't matter, I'd probably get a 4MP Olympus or Canon.

oh, as for the pentax, the reason i didn't go for that, even tho it does have manual controls, is the iso for the canons go down to 50... plus the cost in this case. I'm just using it as a take everywhere shooter. I wanted an oly 4040z to cover all my bases (don't even...) but this was a bday gift.. i was surprised my parents even let me get this but i'm still saving.. i might try for the 2100 instead since i'll have this one eventually...

btw, dell lifted their hold charge on my discover... dunno if that's a bad thing or what...

I went to local Target B&M and noticed they've cleared out the S110 model. I was not able to get a price but the store employee told me it went very fast. He also told me that there is a new model out and that was the reason for clearing out the S110.

While I don't care for S110, I though this was a good sign. Also, maybe someone could benefit from Target clearence.
