pecel, none of these were ever in stock, these are pre-orders. Dell will ship the cameras out when they are available. The way their system works, if they have a product page for it, anybody can order/preorder it. By removing the s200 product page, they effective stopped pre-orders for it.

These are great, if you actually get them.

But what about the Olympux d-510, or better yet, the Olympus d-520z that replaces it this month? I think bang for buck wise these might be better cameras... Let me know your opinions, this is not flame bait but honest question :)

I was thinking about the d-510 also, seems like the main differences between it and the s200/s330 are the canons can shoot 640x480 movies, and I don't think the d-510 supports sound. plus the ELPH looks cooler :)

I think both are good choices, if you can get the d-510 at dell with 10% + $25 off it's a pretty good deal

yep, and it rates the S330 quite highly. still no S200 reviews though...I hope my decision to save $50 and get the S200 doesn't backfire with a huge delay. back to waiting :)

There's no S200 review maybe because it's not officially released to retailers yet.

If you look at Canon's official site for these cameras, the S330 link points to a normal support page, but the S200 link still points to the press release.

the S330/S200 have no control over aperture..
this is the only difference between the A40 and the S330.
well, the shutter speed can be controlled between 1 to 15 secs.
even in the A40 , you have only two options for aperture at any zoom.

I'm looking at the A40 also...it's $280 with shipping at buydig.com, cheaper than the S200, with 3X zoom too. plus it uses regular AA batteries...it's either wait for the S200 or get the A40 now

No, cable included... But Reader from newegg is only 20.00 and well worth it! Btw get you mem card there too !!!
>>

No USB cable? My S110 came with a USB cable and a video cable (to plug it into a TV). I'm trying not to kick myself for getting the S110 just a scant month ago, but oh well. At least we know why they were on sale all the time for the past couple months.

Hey guys,

1. I've placed an order for the 330 but I haven't received yet the confirmation e-mail from DELL.
Did any of you who placed an order recently knows the ETA for this camera ?
2. Unfortunately Dell doesn't sell accesories , namely spare battery and waterproof case ,
do you know wherer to get those for less ?
3.Which case fits this camera , Canon site has the WP-DC500 listed but some dealers have the WP-DC100 among accesories.
Will the WP-DC100 , which was made for S100 do the job or there are diifferences in button layout between the two cameras ?

TIA
