*******UPDATE #2********

HERE You will find a very informative post started by RossMAN with a poll to see who has gotten or ordered each of the cameras to try and keep straight what all is going on. If you've ordered/intend on ordering, you'll want to check this out. If you've ordered, please put your input there so we can all see who has gotten where with what.

*******UPDATE*********

The S200 is no longer available on Dell's webpage. If you didn't get in on it before, it's too late now. Fortunetly, the S330 can now be had for $310 by using the 10% of peripheral coupon and stacking it with the $50 off $400 or more order(You'll have to find something for around a buck to move it up to the $400 mark). Good luck, shipping dates seemed to be pushed back quite a bit already, so move fast!

One of my first "hot deals", so I hope this is good. Canon had the specs on there webpage, but when I tried to find them I kept getting page not found errors, so I'm not sure where they disappeared to.

This is the camera that is replacing the S110. The camera is the exact same dimensions, and has the exact same build as the S110, except it now has the added ability of selecting the iso, from 50-400 (I believe the S110 could only go to 100).

The camera is not in stock yet, but should be in either the end of this week or the begining of next.

Use the stackable Dell coupons for 10% off peripherals, and then the $25 off $250 to end up with a total of $289.10. Seemed like a good deal to me.

HERE

Also, following the same trend, you can get the S330, which is replacing the S300, for $335. I believe the specs are identical between the two, I couldn't see any changes myself. The S300 series has the 3x zoom whereas the S200 has a 2x optical zoom.
specs HERE

Hope someone finds this helpful!

I think this is a decent deal. The s330 would be the way to go, paying an additional 45 bucks for 3x zoom, built in speakers I think is worth it.

One of the biggest problems IMO for the s110 was the fact that it was terrible at low light shots. You could not control the shutter speed. Now you can. Controlling the iso is also possible. Should make a tremendous improvement in photo quality (if you can hold the camera still for those low light conditions).

Having said that, the lowest price I could find on the web is around $360 plus about $20 shipping, making it close to $400 if you pay tax as well (this is for the s330). I'm tempted, but for only a $65 dollar difference I think I'd wait and see.

Wow, I forgot all about ebates... also, I think that the MSRP for the first month of launch is going to be the 349 and 399 I've posted, and then it is going to be raised to 449 and 499. This seems a little wrong to me, but the web seems to have these priced like this all around, and canon has MSRP on their page as the higher totals, so it could be true.

The camera is equipped with a compact, high energy Li-ion Battery NB-1LH. Increased capacity of 840 mAH gives you longer shooting sessions and more playback time. The previous NB-1L battery is also compatible.

Sweet! I wonder if I can recharge my existing batteries in this charger?

I am really torn on this issue ..... I am def in, but which to get ??? I love the size of my S110, but I never use the the video function because of the sound issue.... The weight is close 6.7 ounces for S200 and 8.6 for the S330... Would 3x zoom really change it for me????Arrgh! Someone chime in here?

I prefer the size of the 110/200 to the 300/330.
You wouldn't think that .3 inches x .3 inches x .1 inches would make that big a difference, but it does.

May have to get the 200 to replace my 100.

I can't believe they're selling the S200 for $80 less than the S110. I just bought an S110 @ Dell, hoping to do a BVG when the price dropped for clearances. Now I guess I'll see how well Dell handles open box returns. Even a 15% restocking fee would make the S200 a better deal. Losers.

Excellent deal tho.

Just read the specs on these. Any reason on why should I not buy this camera? I've been wanting one digital cam but not sure to get which one. I'm looking at the S200 as the S330 is just 1X optical zoom in difference ( Or are there any more?? )

Any reason to not get them? Are there any other brands that are better?

IMHO only get a digicam with a 5X optical zoom or more. It's just a whole different picture taking world with the capabilty to zoom in close. My 10X lens is outstanding!
