Dell Poweredge 1300/350 Mother Board Blues!!!

I am having problem with DELL Poweredge Mother board with dual P2 processors slot1 ( Processor A and Processor B) A working system which has recently develop the problem
I have been unsuccessful to go past the POST screen the symptons are as follows (Pri - Primary slot, Sec - Secondary slot)

A in Pri, B in Sec
At the end of POST screen Error reported
"Processor is not in primary slot System HALTED" :thumbsdown:

B in Pri, A in Sec
System Hangs no display have to hard switch off :thumbsdown::thumbsdown:😕

A in Pri, Sec slot empty
At the end of POST screen Error reported
"Processor or termination card not installed System HALTED" :thumbsdown:

B in Pri, Sec slot empty
At the end of POST screen Error reported
"Processor or termination card not installed System HALTED" :thumbsdown:

Pri slot empty, A in Sec
At the end of POST screen Error reported
"Processor or termination card not installed System HALTED" :thumbsdown:

Pri slot empty, B in Sec
At the end of POST screen Error reported

Can anyone shed a light what is the solution to my dilema 🙄

Sounds like Processor A has failed.

Would likely be alot faster and cheaper to just replace it w\ another low end poweredge and throw that one in the dumpster.

you can get a poweredge a few generations newer than that one for $100

I agree. Ancient hardware is ancient. Almost-as-ancient hardware is much faster and still cheap.

Sounds like Processor A has failed.

Tested the components in another system
Motherboard Ok
However finger points at Processor A
