i found some other 15, and 20% off codes that some other people posted. dosnet matter though, a majority of people got their orders cancelled. one guy ordered 5 laptops, a dell manager called his home, then let his order go through with an upgraded overnight shipping lol. that bastard.

Yea, but I have been looking for a dell laptop deal for the past few days (including today) and was on FW but didn't see this. I even have valid coupons I received via email. I wonder what they will do if I call?
Can't hurt to try and call. They have done things like this in the past. They even refunded my shipping because the day after I ordered they started a free shipping promo. Dell has 2 options in my opinion. They honor the coupon or they lose out on a sale.

the main problem before was that the D600 had a 400$ MIR, and people were adding that ontop of their 25% off. i just checked the dell site and they removed the 400MIR, and replace it with a instant savings of 325... but u can no longer add coupons to instant savings.

you can still apply the 25% on "normal" configuration.
granted, there is already a $100-$150 off and they don't stack.
you get an additional $50-$75 off approximately depending on which machine you choose.

Anybody have a 25%, 20%, 15% or even 10% coupon that they won't be using? If you do could you pm send it my way? I have been trying to score the samsung 710t for a cheaper price all week.
I ended up buying the 25% coupon on ebay. The extra 5% saved me about $120. Totally worth it...my 8600 is on the way!!! The price started out at 2394 and ended at 1795+tax. When did sb start charging tax?
To my knowledge, the Small Business division of Dell *has always* charged sales tax (where applicable). The Home & Home Office division on the other hand seldom does. I always consider this difference when comparing Dell deals.
