If it is actually the FULL G400 (usb hub, vga splitter, etc.) this is good, but if it isn't, you should just go for the $365 deal for the G400 :).

i have this monitor and i love it!!! i got it w/ my dell...and i gotta say it was pretty expensive! the thing i love about it is that it's flat! the only thing that's bad is that it's kind of big...so i have this huge desk in my room for it...but other than that...it's a great monitor!!! for $367...its a great deal!

I got a P991 right here too, very nice monitor, but it is a Dell bare bones model, no USB and stuff.

Golden Tiger, I currently is using G400. it doesn't not have USB Hub. but it does have dual input while the P991 seems not.

And dell's warranty is 3 years replace, just called , is this better than regular warranty?

BTW.. I have two friends with this monitor and it is a beauty. It is a Trinitron tube, but I don't think it is exactly like the G400. As a matter of fact, I think the refresh rates were a little lower than the comparable Sony's if I remember correctly. Maybe something along the lines of a E400?

I think I recall seeing this monitor in the PC World top 10 19&quot; monitors for quite some time. It is a purty monitor and $367 sounds fair. I wouldn't pay full price for it though even with free shipping.

I also own the Dell P991 and it's the most beautiful CRT monitor I have ever laid eyes on. Mine is just the monitor without the USB hub and crap but oh what a beautiful monitor it is.

Three things you should know about the Dell P991:
1) It's heavy.
2) Dimension wise, it's huge.
3) Since it's an FD Trinitron it has those two faint damper wires going horizontally across the screen. Some people can't live with that, I never notice they are there unless someone points it out or I'm working on a very white document (such as MS Word) then they are somewhat noticeable.

Other than that the Dell P991 holds it's own against the Sony G400, aren't they 100% identical twins?

Yes! Ross is the Man! Or is that RossMAN? ;) He's got that right. I thought the specs were a lot lower on the Dell monitor, but it looks to be the same as the G400 Sony. Good deal!

uhhh... i am currently on a DELL P1110 monitor at this time, my lab is full of these babies, guess same quality
with the 19' but i think the Samsung 955DF in my home is better than these trinitron monitors.
(maybe not set up right?? who knows...)

I'm using a KDS 19&quot; w/ the Sony Trinitron Tube and it's gooood!! Paid $234 for it from staples a while back.. I wonder if my $50 rebate from Bestbuy would ever come in. ;)

I believe that's the KDS AV-195TF? Awesome monitor it was my favorite until I discovered the Dell P991 which IMHO is one of the best CRT monitors ever made.
