good deal if you need an affordable computer system...definitely not for a gamer or anybody needing a heavy system.

no floppy included!!...oh my what will i do? J/K.

But $20 to add one, that's outrageous.

And if you don't order the floppy for $20, DELL won't include the floppy bracket that you NEED to install your own floppy. So if you need a floppy drive, order it with the pc because DELL will screw you if you try to get the bracket later.

You can probably order a floppy bracket from Dell Parts, if you can figure out the part number.

Nice deal on a budget system.

If you're a gamer though, pass on it since there is No AGP.

Its onchip Intel graphics, but it is AGP.
I think you mean no AGP CARD.
I would assume it has the slot - dunno.

I bought it for a customer for his office, just to check email and do Quickbooks Pro.
He's replacing a 750MHZ SECC Pentium with a 12GB Maxtor SCSI drive and a TNT2 vidcard.
And the side fan on the cpu sounds like a cement mixer.

I think its an upgrade.

frank: they DO NOT have an AGP slot. It's all onboard intel graphics. It makes this computer really pointless to get if you want to upgrade parts.

RE: the floppy from above posts
The floppy drive is definitely an issue we ordered 10 of these at work and I didn't get floppies because we can get them for $5 a piece instead of $20.

Dell is now screwing over customers by not including the bracket in the case. How friggin cheap can they get?

Thanks rasputinj for the catch. I bought one for a bud having bought the 4600 server for myself (same deal basically) months ago.

Cheers!

I'm not seeing the $100 rebate. I see it with $280 instant and $150 mir for a total of $449. Is it over already? Am I missing something?

Looks like that particular deal is over and they have a different deal at the moment on the 4600 instead (not a bad deal on that either)
