I appreciate the response. I guess from just looking around on various websites and websearches, I just cant find any conclusive answer that says: yes this videocard supports 1680x1050 while also supporting a 2nd monitor. The one that I have come closest to that has the features I'm looking for is the ATI fire GL T2-128. Which is right around my price range of 200-250 dollars. From some of my reading here, I have picked up that nvidia is a better dual monitor card maker... which also puts another decision into the mix... ala 6800 and quadro
Most of the applications I run besides the usual surfing and office type work is photoshop and other graphics applications and an occasional game. I dont need a full review from you guys.. I just need to know what works for those of you that are running the set up that I've just described. Thanks again for all of your help and suggestions.
Well, you don't sound like a serious 3D card gamer to me. You might look at the Matrox P-650 which can be had for about $169.95, I believe from a variety of sources. Dual monitors is their thing (or even 3-monitors ... as in the 750 ... though it's only two computer monitors at a time ... the third is for video apps). Of course, the 750 is about $230. The best deal for 2 monitor ... Photoshop and office work seems to be tghe Maxtro 650. It's available in both AGP and in PCI Express. Sounds like you need the AGP. It's worth a look anyway, given your uses.

Let's let the gamers chime in here, as they are a lot of them in this forum, and I'm sure they have some good ideas for you as well.
