Anyone know of a firm date or even a roundabout?

my guess is before august. maybe sometime Q2
there are other chipsets from via and nvidia offering the same stuff coming out, unless you are deadset on that mini 10

check my huge thread about it

Look good, but what's with the 16:9 obsession? Isn't 16:10 more usable as it has more vertical room and close enough to 16:9 that movies can still play ok?

They're advertising HD on a 10" screen now? Lol thats laughable. I can barely stand HD on my Dell 24". But I guess if you are on the go, this dell mini would be a good alternative to those outdated portable dvd players.

I would love 720P on my netbook. I use an HP Mini 1000 with Windows 7. Vista and 7 both do very good jobs at scaling texts to readable levels on high resolution screens. I would take the improved picture quality and screen real estate in a heartbeat, assuming a proper GPU was included in the deal. 720P on the same crappy Atom chipset isn't going to do you a damn bit of good but cause you a bunch of heartache.
