Dell LCD Monitors

Anyone know what Dell's return policy is on LCD monitors regarding dead pixels? Do they even have one? I did a search on dell.com for "dead pixel" and didn't find any hits.

Thinking about going without food for a month to afford the 20" and the X800 I'd have to buy with it. But I don't want to lay out that much money and get stuck with 3 or 4 dead/stuck pixels that Dell won't fix.

i dont think any company has no dead pixel garuntee.. some let you return them if you have 3 or more.... that is if ur lucky. neweggs are 8 or more to return

I saw a listing once (either here or on Tom's) where they set out some of the more popular companies return policies. I believe the seven manufacturers varied from "3 dead/stuck" to "7 dead or 3 stuck". Newegg's policy refers to returns to newegg itself, but you can always go through the manufacturer if your LCD meets the manufacturers specs but not newegg's.

I looked through the Dell site, and saw some mentions of "return if not totally satisfied", but no specific mention of LCDs and pixels. I'm wondering if you could return to Dell for even 1 dead pixel if you decided you weren't "satisfied" with your purchase.
