Note that it is "up to" 30%. Some of the higher end ones (like the 20" 1600x1200 I use at work) are only 10% off. The lower-end stuff seems to be all 30%, though. Good find.

Anyone else had a problem with the power button breaking on a Dell monitor? I picked up a system last year for my mom and the power button is shot now. Of course, it is not under warranty anymore. I checked the Dell forums and it sounds like there are quite a few Dell users that have had issues with the power button on their monitors as well. I don't usually switch mine off as I just power down my computer and/or put it to sleep so it is rare that I turn off the monitor itself. Mom, being old school, thought it best to shut down everything when she was done so it probably was turned on/off at least once a day.

I have a Dell 17" Ultrasharp in the basement that is 4 years old that still works great, but I also have only touched the power button a dozen times or so.

Yeah, this is very much a clearance sale to make room for the new models. In particular, he 3008WFP should be a serious jump over the current model.

the 08 Series is missing Features too. Like PIP and PbP. Those are great features to leave out.
