Dell latitude question.

AQNyone know if the dell cpia MB will fit in a dell cp chassis. also are the screens the same. The reason I'm asking is I have a dell latitude cp 233xt that I believe something is wrong with the MB and For the same price I can get a 400mhz MB with the proc as opposed to the 233 That is currently in there. also the screen is the 13.3 size.

AFAIK, the LCD is not connected by a plug, but soldered to the motherboard, and its thin ribbon cable, too. that might give you trouble. have you already taken apart the latitude?
 
I haven't yet, I pulled the keyboard off and looked to see if anything looked "broken" but all looked fine. Is the lcd screen on the cpia soldered on, I believe the one on mine is a plug at least the screen on the cp I have (not the 13.3" model) is a plug.
