Plus he DOESN'T HAVE THE GUYS REAL NAME OR ADDRESS. So it wouldn't be a 1 day trip, more like a week or two to reasonably find the guy.

And of course its in another country, and I doubt he's fluent in Spanish. And there's no way his parents would let him go alone at 17 y/o, so costs are doubled.

Good luck finding the scammer for less than $1500. I still maintain its not possible.
 
well, I don't think that you can get the money back by going to FBI or police. First, those people hardly knows how to go online, let alone find out his/her location using computer.

Even if you get robbed in your neighborhood, I have never heard of people getting their stuff back once that thief disappears. So, imagine oversea...

Take this as an expensive lesson.

If you really have to do something to make you feel better, find a witch or something and channel all you rage into a curse on him.
