Dell Latitude D505 memory question

I'd like to upgrade the memory in a Dell Latitude D505. It currently has 512MB of PC2700 (DDR300) memory and I'd like to go to the full capacity of 2GB.

I found great prices on name brand 1GB memory sticks but they are PC3200 (DDR400), not PC2700 (DDR300).

Will the PC3200 memory work OK in place of the PC2700 memory?

You shouldn't have any problems using the faster rated DDR in a Dell.

BTW, PC-2700 = DDR333
