I don't know the model number but they are available on ebay for around $100 more or less. I have a c610 and have the DVD module along with the 3.5" floppy. Not a lot of bells and whistles but does what I need it to do.

I would like to just get the drive and put it in the caddy I have for the CDROM. I need the actual model of the other drives, not the caddy.

You can pretty much use any standard laptop optical drive, no need to look for a specific model. The only thing you may need to do is switch the drive faces to make it fit.

Yeah, as long as the faces for the drives are physically compatable you can switch them. I love these models. I was fixing them and selling them for awhile, but with the price of the batteries and the drives, I wasn't making enough money to make it worth it. Got pretty much my whole family and some of my friends running some version of the Dell C series. I have a c610 that I use when I need to be on battery of an extended period. Put one of the high end batteries in each of the bays and I am good to go for quite awhile.
