Nice, even though I think last weeks $800 off 2000 or $600 off 1699 were even better - but that was last week

The 600 off 1699 is better by .3% if you have a config that is exactly 1699.. otherwise 35% is better

What are you - a wise guy???

If you want to go into it, the 35% applies to the system's base price - there are few other discounts or freebies

The $600 was of off the system with some free stuff already (free 512MB memory, free CDRW/DVD, free HDD upgrade or other free upgrades)

You figure it out ...

And obviously $800 of 2000 if you can configure it - like I did - equals 40% off + freebies

The 35% applies to the whole price, upgrades included. And if YOU want to go into it, it wasn't 800 off 2000, it was 750, which is 37.5% Edit: My bad, I was thinking of the deal earlier this month where it was 750 off. I missed this other one..

Like I said, if you configured it for exactly 1699 or 1999, the $ off deal was better, if not this is probably better. For example 600 off 1750 is 34%.

Lots of good deals on Dell laptops!
I'm really undecided on which mode is best to get from the 6000, 600m, 8600, and the 9300!
ahhhh....

Sorry but you still did not get it:

Which upgrades are currently included? Let me answer this question for you:

I just went into the 6000d but there are other examples just like it:

- NO memory upgrade
- NO CDRW/DVD upgrade,
- NO HDD upgrade,
- NO hardware upgardes whatsoever
- NO wireless card

In fact the only thing they are willing to discount are their outrageous and rather useless 3 and 4 year in-house warranties.

When they had the $600 and $800 coupons they also had at least double memory and CDRW/DVD upgrade and a free wireless card - that amounts to at least $120 which are now factored into the price that ultimately gets discounted :p

hey,
Just need an opinion. i'm looking at replacing my laptop and my desktop and was considering the 9300 with the 6800. I was hoping to buy after the 15th. that's when i get a big check but what are the chances of more deals like this/ better than this coming around? will i have to wait until the end of another quarter? let me know what you guys think. thanks
